Fiberglas shall be as outlined in North American Insulation Manufacturers Association (NAIMA 202-96) specification, or equal, with a R-value of _________ when not compressed. Fiberglass shall be faced on one side. The composite of fiberglass and facing shall have surface burning characteristics not to exceed 25 flame spread and 50 smoke when tested in accordance with Underwriters Laboratories 723 test method or ASTM E-84 test method.
| VyTech Atlas VPG VyTech Atlas VPG facing shall be composed of a 0.00155" white PVC vinyl laminated to 0.00044" metallized polyester. The product shall be reinforced with a tri-directional 1.8 x 0.9 x 0.9 fiberglass scrim. The resulting facing shall have a water transmission rate of 0.02 US perm (ASTM E-96, procedure A). Tensile strength shall be 22.5 lbs. in the machine direction and 14 lbs. in the cross-machine direction, with beach puncture of 128 scale units. |

The resulting facing shall have a water vapor transmission rate of 1.0 US perm (ASTM E-96, procedure A). Tensile strength shall be 3250 psi in the machine direction and 2750 psi in the cross-machine direction. |

Tensile strength shall be 20 lbs. in the machine direction and 10 lbs. in the cross-machine direction with a beach puncture of 130 scale units. |
